the good times

MAY 2020.

I made ‘THE GOOD TIMES’ during the pandemic when we were all stuck at home and couldn’t go anywhere. I had been thinking creatively, but was feeling restricted being stuck at work. So I spent a lot of time having a huge clear out of my camera roll, hard drives and SD cards - a job I had been meaning to do for ages that I had been putting off because I was ‘too busy’ but now I didn’t have an excuse!

Looking back at so many incredible memories I've been lucky to have made feel so nostalgic so I wanted to make something that showed all of my favourite memories and moments in the same place. And this is what I made… 'THE GOOD TIMES'.

I wanted it to feel like it's a nostalgic home footage video that you'll stick on a projector and watch in many years to come. I know I will be when I'm older and possibly showing my own children. I think the way the world is and the uncertainty of what's happening just made me appreciate all of these amazing moments I've been lucky to have and I'll never take it for granted.

This video is personally one of my favourites that I’ve made, and has definitely made me very appreciative and thankful in a time that was strange for us all, for the memories that I got to make prior to lockdown.
